By downloading, accessing, or using Elora, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Elora.
Elora ("Elora," "we," "our") is a journaling and mental wellness app created by Rym Akhannouch, available on iOS and at elora-app.com.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Elora. If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental or guardian permission. We may terminate accounts where age has been misrepresented.
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Do not share your account or use someone else's without permission. Notify us at support@elora-app.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your journal entries, reflections, moods, and other content belong to you. We do not claim ownership. By using Elora, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your personal content for advertising or AI training.
You are responsible for your content. Do not use Elora to store or transmit illegal, harmful, or rights-infringing content.
Elora does not provide medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in Elora should be interpreted as professional mental health guidance. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional for any mental health concerns.
We aim to keep Elora running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Elora may be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including secure storage via Firebase (Google) with access controls that prevent other users from reading your private content. However, no system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee that data will never be lost, corrupted, or accessed without authorization. You are encouraged to keep personal copies of content that matters to you.
Data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Elora uses third-party services including Firebase (Google), Apple In-App Purchase, and Gumroad. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service failures, changes, or data practices. Links to third-party terms:
Premium is billed through Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel through your Apple ID settings. We do not offer refunds for partial periods except as required by law. Prices may change with reasonable notice.
Workbooks purchased via Gumroad are for personal, non-commercial use only. All sales are final once downloaded, except as required by law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or resell purchased workbooks.
All original content in Elora — including quotes, prompts, music, design, and code — is the intellectual property of Elora by Rym, protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. The Elora name and brand are our trademarks.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice in serious cases.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elora and its creator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or emotional distress — arising from your use of Elora. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Elora is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, accuracy, or non-infringement. Use Elora at your own risk.
You may request account deletion at support@elora-app.com. Your data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel separately through Apple ID settings.
We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Elora shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Morocco.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under the laws applicable to you.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
